Difference on TS and ES

Is it me or the Training server is more realistic in term of airline flights

Just you. A lot more realistic flights happen on ES and you have more variety instead of always flying in and out of LHR.

Cign :)

There are a lot more realistic flights on the ES. The pilots needed higher stats to be able to fly there and there are trained ATC’s.

but on expert server some airports have too many planes, some airports have 0 planes. training server always has mix everywhere

As far as I’m concerned, the traffic on the TS is more distributed, but I personally don’t need pilots who give with 100% takeoff and land with 249kts :)

only today because it is IFATC at home. We should have IFATC at home on more days so expert server can be better than training server

Hello! The reason why we can’t open airport as we wish is because most of the traffic will mostly go to the big hubs such KJFK, EGLL, KLAX. That’s what I’ve seen on training sever(:

I mean, it is better.

In training server, you have people taking off into each other, people landing on grass or at 250 knots, and some unprofessional ATC or even trollers.
Plus, all the traffic goes to KLAX and EGLL usually.

In expert server, there is a dedicated schedule and although traffic goes to airports in a specific region (each day), at least you don’t see KLAX and EGLL being controlled every day and getting all the traffic. Plus, the ATC on ES are trained 😉

most traffic goes to KLAX and EGLL because in real life is like that. Big airports have more planes. But on training server there still is many planes or some planes in other airports. Very little planes in small airports because in real life there is little planes in small airports

But, if you see it as a new IFATC standpoint they don’t have anything to control. Therefore schedule each week, so people who aren’t experienced IFATC can get a chance.

Also, it would really boring going to the big hubs all the time. So if we can go and explore the world and airlines we haven’t flown with before that would be great.

It is not like we have to choose one or another. We could have different main HUBS for the day, like yesterday and if those are staffed we could open the big airport like LHR, KLAX. That way we have a bit of both. In the end ATC delivers as service, to the pilots. Pilots request LHR a lot (by flying there) why wouldn’t we open that? Also, the fight for HUBS is insane right now between controllers. People literally wait hours to get an airport with traffic…

Are they gonna release the sche today?

Yes, the new schedule will be out today.

I’m with @anon79353067 on this one, I believe that TS is better than ES because of the variety.

But I still don’t quite understand what the distribution should bring if only 10% of the controllers on the TS know anything about ATC 🤔

he has a good point lol

I used to fly on ES but then realized that the schedule is usually the same regions, even though TS ATC is usually open at LHR or LAX you do get those occasional Tracking Threads or random airports that people open up at. (I do like the IFATC at home because it gives ES life)

Well okay. That’s your opinion. If you feel like that then do it nothing stops you from doing it.
