I want to know the difference between heading and bearing . The line at the bottom of the gaming screen shows all information about the aircraft like altitude, speed, heading, bearing, temperature, yoke.
At that line where it shows the information is the aircraft, there is something heading and bearing. The heating i could understand but what’s that bearing to. There is a difference in between two of them.
I HAVE TRIED TO ATTACHED THE SCREENSHOT REGARDING THE SAME BUT WHEN I TRY TO UPLOAD IT THE APP CRASHES SO I COULD NOT UPLOAD SCREENSHOT. OLD HELP THIS SCREENSHOT ALSO.
If someone knows plz understand my problem and help me accordingly.
Plz help me we soon as possible.
Heading is the 360 degree circular path that spans across the earth. Bearing is the angle of your aircraft’s heading. Hope your question is answered!
That isn’t 💯 true. Bearing is actually the angle between True North and the destination of the aircraft. Heading is the direction your aircraft is pointing. It is explained well here:

And that isn’t true either 😂
The evidence is mounting…
Heading is the direction to which the nose is pointed. Bearing is the direction you are actually flying. On a calm day these will be the same. Add any amount of wind to that, and it all changes.
Just think of it as the runway heading when you’re crabbed in a Crosswind.
Look, here’s the thing; until you can provide 100% undeniable proof you own and pilot a Gulfstream, we’re gonna need you to stop pretending. We don’t like people peddling false information on the community. We’ll probably start flagging such posts as spam.
Thanks.
He is asking about Bearing to Next in IF.
That particular piece of info, in IF, on the info bar, refers to the direction you need to travel to hit the next waypoint.
