Hello!
Now, I’m making an plastic models of ANA A320neo.
This is my first time to make a plastic model of Airplane.
So I have some questions.
Did you make a plastic airplane model and what was it?
I want to refer to it in the future.
Thank you:)
Yes I have built a C17 Globemaster III
I’ve built a KLM 747-200 and a Spitfire. My opinion on how they are?
Fiddly
A pain
Enjoyable
Makes you want to scream after the 999999th attempt.
A nice addition to put on show.
Stains. Everywhere. Even now over 5 years later my desk has paint stains all over it.
I literally used glue provided to stick on the cockpit roof of the spitfire, and it melted away the plastic, leaving it opaque.
This is what my shelf looks like now. Thank God robots are a thing.
5 years after this is my desk.
My 3D printer ran out of filament while I was printing a tiny Cessna 182!
That’s nice 👍
It was difficult?
WOW 😮
You have a 3D printer!
What kind of model do you want print next?
Yeah I started making this 2 months ago but I can’t make this because I have no time…😅
However, I want complete to make this for Summer.
I’m still working on the Hasegawa ANA 777-300 from Christmas (First model)…
I would say that to be careful with amount of glue and the decals (Don’t be scratching them to stay on better. Think that you need to do them perfectly the first time). If the glue bothers you, paint the glue with the model color. That’ll fix it. Ask me anything since I have little experience on Hasegawa models.
I had this 3D printer called Delta 3D printr misspell intended but I stopped using it as 1, the magnets holding the arms of the printer came loose so when I got back from something there would be wasted filament everywhere. 2, I never really understood sketchup. And 3, I could only make small things as the base was tiny. Oh and I kept getting noise complaints from me burning myself BADLY!
I made a C-130 Fat Al, a spitfire, and a B-52
I like your Mclaren F1 model!
Thanks for your advices!
Yes! I love making plastic model aircraft! I normally buy from Revell, as I find they’re very good quality.
I see.
In Japan, we usually buy Hasegawa’s kits.
What aircraft did you made??
I once built a 747 -
It took a loooooooooooong time and involved a fair amount of hard raging… 😤😤
I built an A380 with the Airbus livery.
I have quite a lot of patience so it wasn’t too hard for me to build.
That’s good👍
I want a lot of patience too…
Wow…😅
How long did you take to made this?
Guys i am interested to get into this. Can some ppl tell me what brands sell these kits and stuff. Would be a big help
Hey I have the same brand (Hasegawa models) but it’s an ANA 787-8. I haven’t made any other kits though, but I do like collecting aircraft models.
