DFW Summer of Spotters

For the 50th anniversary of DFW Airport they allowed 50 Aviation enthusiast to get an exclusive tour. I was lucky enough to be one of them. We were able to get up close with the aircraft landing on 17C and got to go inside of a 787 and 737 inside of hangar five. As well as a tour of the fire training center.

Hopefully will become a captain on one of these someday.

Hopefully I’ll be controlling the airport you fly to/from 😝🤞🤞🤞
That’s if I can survive collage and the FAA academy

Very cool! How did you get to be one of the 50? Being a pilot helped? And they powered up the cockpit apparently?

I have a plane spotting instagram account @dfw_flights and the DFW team contacted me through there

You have the potential to be the scariest person on Earth by one statement; “I have a phone number for you”

Do you have any airport in mind you would like to control from?

Hopefully a big international airport

Maybe you can get a job here at DFW

First of all, cool pictures! May I ask what camera you have?
Second of all, what plane did they set on fire there?
Third of all, really cool that you got to go into one of the cockpits of the 737 Maxes…fingers crossed we get the AAL livery for it!

You know…if you come control down here…you’d have access to the theme parks, and I’d probably see (hear) you here while flying! Oh and the beaches are nice I guess, if you don’t like waiting in hour+ long lines for mediocre rides.
