Huawei MediaPad T3 10 added by @SpeedPlayz, go check it out!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and I find its performance becoming worse over the past 5 months or so I’ve had it as IF keeps adding more and more detail to their aircraft. The lag is becoming impossible to deal with…even with no other aircraft around.

If somebody else has the Tab S3 model T-820 and has it running smoothly (even if the graphic settings are low…mine does not run smooth at all with low graphics, nor after cleaning scenery cache, after reinstall, etc…), I’d love to hear from you through direct message.

I feel like I’ve turned off every advance feature, removed every app and set all of the developer options I can to optimize the device performance with no success. I don’t want to root the device. And yes, I’ve reached out to one of our IFC Android experts (@Starley) about this as well…

What type of device do you use to play IF with?
#165

Hey everyone, I’m eager for any information that anyone has on the brand new iPad models, I’d be appreciative if we could get the performance for each model sorted by the end of this week as they’re already shipping!

#166

I am 99% sure the concensus will be that it can run at Max settings with no lag.

#167

I believe the new iPad pros have the same specs as the 2nd gen. Except for the new processors. If not that, I know that Laura said they run about the same.

#168

The new processors are beasts, especially compared to the previous ones.
Although for IF they probably would run about the same since the 2nd gen could already run max settings fairly well.
The 1TB option has 6 GB of RAM compared to 4 GB, but I doubt that would make much of a difference on IF.

#169

@Chatta290 has got the new Pro.

#170

Asus ZenPad. Runs like a champ.

#171

I use an Asus Zenfone 3 and 5. The zenfone 3 often crashes while inflight, but the zenfone 5 works very well.

#172

I’d appreciate some more information bro… Do you reckon you could copy my template and fill it out for yourself? You too @LegendaryRoro88?

iPhone XR
OS : iOS 12.1.1
Rendering Quality : High
Rendering Resolution : High
Texture quality : High
Anti-Aliasing : On
Limit frame rate : Off
Airplane Count : Very High
GeekBench Scores : 4783/10519
Notes: this phone is a mega beast! Have not had a single issue with performance on Infinite Flight running at all the highest settings. There’s a small layout issue due to the new screen size, but that will be fixed with time.

#174

Huge thanks bro, the phone has been out for over a month and nobody has provided any info on it yet 😂

iPad Pro X
OS : iOS 12.1.1
Rendering Quality : High
Rendering Resolution : High
Texture Quality : High
Anti-Aliasing : On
Limit Frame Rate : Off
Airplane Count Very High
GeekBench Scores 5025/18106
Notes : This iPad is so fast and smooth, you’ll cringe playing on anything else.(based on my experience with the iPad Air 2) I understand it’s powerful, but it still maxes out at the usual 60FPS just like every other device Support for the screen isn’t there yet but will be in the next update. (According to Mods). You should be able to play IF on this beast for the next 4-5 years.

iPhone XR Performance Questions
#178

I understand it’s powerful, but it still maxes out at the usual 60FPS just like every other device 🥰

Not massively smoother than anything else then

#179

Ik, but compared to my Air 2, that was my experience. Let me change it really quickly.

#180

Who knows. Perhaps they’ll add 120fps support? I highly doubt it, even with the new iPad that’s quite a tall order… But that would be something amazing!

#181

Just as an update on the iPad 2018. It runs well with limit frame rate on but it’s preferable to keep it off around very busy airports or to conserve battery life.

#182

I have the 2017 version
