Hey everyone, I’m eager for any information that anyone has on the brand new iPad models, I’d be appreciative if we could get the performance for each model sorted by the end of this week as they’re already shipping!
I am 99% sure the concensus will be that it can run at Max settings with no lag.
I believe the new iPad pros have the same specs as the 2nd gen. Except for the new processors. If not that, I know that Laura said they run about the same.

The new processors are beasts, especially compared to the previous ones.
Although for IF they probably would run about the same since the 2nd gen could already run max settings fairly well.
The 1TB option has 6 GB of RAM compared to 4 GB, but I doubt that would make much of a difference on IF.

I use an Asus Zenfone 3 and 5. The zenfone 3 often crashes while inflight, but the zenfone 5 works very well.

Notes: this phone is a mega beast! Have not had a single issue with performance on Infinite Flight running at all the highest settings. There’s a small layout issue due to the new screen size, but that will be fixed with time.

Notes : This iPad is so fast and smooth, you’ll cringe playing on anything else.(based on my experience with the iPad Air 2) I understand it’s powerful, but it still maxes out at the usual 60FPS just like every other device Support for the screen isn’t there yet but will be in the next update. (According to Mods). You should be able to play IF on this beast for the next 4-5 years.

Who knows. Perhaps they’ll add 120fps support? I highly doubt it, even with the new iPad that’s quite a tall order… But that would be something amazing!

Just as an update on the iPad 2018. It runs well with limit frame rate on but it’s preferable to keep it off around very busy airports or to conserve battery life.

Oh, I was wondering if IF would run at above 60 fps because of the ProMotion screen. Guess not.
However, I’m pretty sure it would be able to get at least a little bit above 60 FPS if they added support for it. Don’t think 90 FPS is too much to ask with the A12X.
Also, it’s not called the iPad Pro X, but rather just the iPad Pro (2018).
