I just wanted to know with the racing pace of technology and demand for updates, what devices will not be suppporting IF within the next 6 months - 1 year?

The newer devices should be able to handle IF for a while.

RIP 2010 iPad, still works fine but its 1 year younger than my sister

I got an iPad Pro and work wonders and probably will for a while. I think if you buy a 2017 device you’ll run IF without problems for at least 3 years.

You don’t have to spend tons to get yourself a good device. Get a second hand iPad Air 2 or similar and you should be ok to run everything at maxxed our settings. It’ll be fine for future updates too.

I agree with him too, I don’t think you will have a problem if you have an iPad Air 2 or a pro even.
