About the Airport
Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport [1] (IATA: SJC , ICAO: KSJC , FAA LID: SJC ) is a city-owned public airport in San Jose, California, United States. It is named after San Jose native Norman Mineta, former Transportation Secretary in the Cabinet of George W. Bush and Commerce Secretary in the Cabinet of Bill Clinton. The name also recognizes Mineta’s service as a councilman for, and mayor of, San Jose. It is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection international port of entry.[4] It is situated three miles northwest of Downtown San Jose[2][5] near the intersections of U.S. Route 101, Interstate 880, and State Route 87. In 2017, 49% of departing or arriving passengers at SJC flew on Southwest Airlines; Alaska Airlines, for which SJC is also a focus city, was second most popular with about 12.3% of passengers. Hello everyone and welcome to my first event ever at San Jose Airport!
The airport is also @BigBert10 's and my home airport! The airport is a huge focus city for both Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines. The airport serves many destinations ranging from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Boston, Massachusetts. San Jose also serves many international destinations nonstop such as Vancouver, Guadalajara, Tokyo, and London. I hope you can join this flyout and let’s try to fill up KSJC! Grade 3+ users can join!

Runway 30R will most likely be used for takeoff unless the winds are in the opposite condition in
which case 12L will be used.
You may choose which livery of the aircraft you would like, but these are based on a first come first serve basis.
Please be kind and courteous to all as Unicom will most likely be the only ATC available.
The gates are set with multiple destinations so you can decide where you want to go! When you decide which gate you want, just say which gate you want and where you will fly!
