So how do you get down from TL2 because I got somehow demoted to TL1. Anyone know how?

I suggest you message a moderator. They can manually demote you if you are posting unproductive things and stuff like that.

Is there a require ment like articles read in X amount of time that could go down from inactivity?

Once you get member you can only be demoted manually. Regular status is the only one that goes down automatically if you fail to make certain requirements.

I’m pretty sure there is as when I was regular you had to:
must have visited at least 50% of days
must have replied to at least 10 different topics
of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.*
Numbers may be changed around. But I got demoted because I went inactive due to some family stuff…
