We can say that the definitive actions for the creation of GOL IVA began on December 29, 2024, when an experienced Infinite Flight user contacted two other users to propose the creation of a new Brazilian VA. Both accepted immediately and on that same day began the creative process. However, this year, we will celebrate the 1st cycle since the company’s true origin on the 28th (Sunday), due to calendar adjustments.
GOL Intelligent Virtual Airlines completes its first year of successful operations, and we owe all our gratitude to our dear members. More information about our annual summary will be posted on January 1st in our official thread.

Smiles Travel Tour
A project created by GOL Intelligent Virtual Airlines to promote traffic at the airports served by the company, including airports served through realistic codeshares, inspired by the Smiles frequent flyer program. The tour takes place on VA’s internal server and is an edition promoted at IFC - Let’s enjoy it together!
Why Rio de Janeiro?
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most famous cities in the world, perhaps the most famous Brazilian city. And it’s no wonder, as its enchanting beauty attracts a large influx of tourists every year. Recently, the World Travel Awards – considered the Oscars of Tourism – awarded the “marvelous city” with three titles: Best Beach Destination, Best City Break Destination, and Best Events and Festivals Destination. The Penthouse of the famous Copacabana Palace hotel was also recognized as the best hotel room in South America. Seriously, does it make you want to travel to Rio? We know. Simulate a wonderful flight to Galeão Tom Jobim International Airport in this special event.
The proposal for this event is Fly-in: any pilot or virtual airline must choose a route and schedule their arrival at Galeão Airport at any time of day. We highlight a main route SBGR - SBGL, to be flown between 1300Z and 1400Z.
