Mission Briefing
Rainbow Canyon is an infamous geological masterpiece that lies on the border of Death Valley National Park. The tight, twisting turns of this natural beauty make it perfect for a sightseeing tour, but challenging for a mission that requires navigation of the canyons at over 600 KIAS and staying below 600" AGL.
Today’s training will push your aircraft and piloting skills to the limit. Traveling through the aforementioned canyons and lake basins as quickly as possible, this will be a test of who is destined to be a true fighter pilot. This is not for the faint of heart.
Our mission begins at Naval Air Station Lemoore in an F/A-18E Super Hornet. Livery choice is up to pilot jurisdiction. With your wingman, you will speedily make your way to the first point in the flight plan in a tight formation. Upon reaching ~10NM away from the “entry point”, enter a single file line and follow the waypoints.
The makeshift target for this mission will be a 4x4m box, labeled as “target” in the flight plan. As there are no functioning weapons systems in Infinite Flight, to destroy the target, fly towards it while descending to that point on the ground.

Flight Plan
The given flight plan consists of a set of waypoints following certain entry points and landmarks. Although these waypoints define the intended path for the training, pilots should fly by hand and follow the general path of the waypoints.

Signups
Pilots will be flying in teams of two or three. If you are unable to find a teammate for the training, please leave your name below in the replies so another wingman-less pilot can respond.
