So how do people know your open? Does it notify them?
No, not particularly, but you would change to [OPEN] @Airport the title and post a reply to bump the thread up.
Right so the thread would pop to the top! Do I need to change the status every time yeah?
Yes, you do have to edit the post every time you open/close.
