After years of planning, David Blaine (an American illusionist, endurance artist, and extreme performer - Best known for his high-profile feats of endurance and has set and broken several world records) is finally pulling off a stunt from his childhood dreams!

David Blaine will take to the skies piloting a cluster of 52 helium balloons all the way up to ~18,000ft before attaching himself to a parachute set and parachuting back to the ground! This feat takes a lot of planning and precision practice yet this will be the first time that David Blaine has taken flight using these helium cluster balloons.

There are plenty of dangers to this stunt but with a large team of highly trained professionals guiding him through the way, David will be as prepared as he can be!

This is nuts. I wouldn’t go in any balloon (sorry @Balloonchaser) let alone hold on to them. Looking forward to it happening though!

That plane is holding all of the communication devices to ensure that everything streams great onto YouTube. The helicopter is the film crew for this project. The plane is filming as well, but they aren’t the main source
