Daocheng Yading: the highest altitude commercial airport in the world

Daocheng Yading airport (稻城亚丁机场) is the highest altitude commercial airport in the world. The airport sits at 14,472 feet above sea level. It was built back in September 2013, and is situated in Sichuan, China.

Earlier today, I saw Sam Chui’s video on Daocheng Yading and I was like “yeah, why not” so after finishing his video, I did some research on the airport and 10 minutes later I filed my flight plan!
