A month or so ago I was able to snap a quick picture of the Qantas A380. I thought it was decent enough to share. Here it is.

Nice! always enjoy seeing the 380’s there. Only aircraft i dont think ive seen at DFW yet is the A350 (poor timing of being at DFW)

The photo was taken with a iPhone 6. I feel like it was pretty good especially with the bad quality it has.

I don’t think the camera of the iPhone 6 is bad quality, i’ve seen much worse.
Compared to other spotters here, who have really nice cameras like ones from Cannon or Nikons the iPhone 6 has pretty poor quality. In general the iPhone 6 ussaly does have good quality, but not in this case.

Yes, your right, for spotting it’s better to bring a camera than a phone, because it has much more quality.

Is Qantas the only airline to bring their A380 into DFW?
Yes, Emirates use to but they weren’t filling enough seats so they switched to the 777W. I have a picture of that too. I will try to find it.

I couldn’t find the Emirates photo, but if you would like to see a picture of a 777 here is one from Korean Air.
