Dallas Dumbos | Spotting at DFW and NFW

Hello Community!

Three weekends, three airports. I visited Toronto on the 1st, Dallas on the 8th, and Miami on the 15th. This topic is all about my time in Dallas with @Altaria55, @Speedyyy, and @Transport_Hub.

Pros of Texas:

  • $2.70 gas
  • Texas Roadhouse
  • No speed limits (were broken by me or anyone I was with during my time there, go away government)

Cons of Texas:

Gear: Sony α7iii + 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS

Qatar Moment

American Moment

American Moment (also 2nd revenue flight for this aircraft)

North Dakota vs. South Dakota Game Moment (also I don’t military spot but this is apparently cool according to people I was with)

Lobos Moment

For a major international airport, DFW is really lacking in spots - especially for north flow which we got. Endless traffic, but most of it is boring American. Like Atlanta, it’s (fort) worth one trip but that’s probably it. NFW is cool if you’re a military spotter but alas I am not.

Not giant tires, giant rims. Pavement princesses. Also all of those engines sound awful with a straight pipe, especially the Tundra.

Yeah bro was upset at us @Speedyyy

Flawless pictures as always. I especially loved the B77L and A21N

Thanks!

And even if it was, you wouldn’t be driving those speeds anyways because it is very illegal and could result in jail time!!

You mean going the speed limit on SH121

Mountains = acceptable

The speed limit is 70

Be a true Texan and go the speed limit (of the car)

As if that’s going to stop me from doing 150

Atlanta is underrated. It gets a lot of special liveries and some rare aircraft. It also has incredible spots to watch from
