D-Day 80th Commemorations

As many of you are aware, it’s the 80th anniversary of Normandy Landings (aka D Day) on the 6th June which is viewed as a turning point in WW2 leading towards the Allied Victory. We are going to to commemorate this event and more importantly remember everyone who took part including everyone who didn’t make it home.

We will fly over a few important D-Day locations in the UK, before flying across to France to fly along the beaches of Normandy before returning to UK shores and flying over more significant sites in the UK.

This will be held on the weekend following D-Day in order to get as many people there as possible.

Date: 8th-9th June
Time: First aircraft (myself) will be launching at 1200Z
Start Location: RAF Brize Norton (EGVN)
Aircraft: C130, C17
Server: Training

Ok. So with this event im kinda confused. So is it basically like, you take off and we follow you or with some flight plan? Or do we just fly on our own?

You take off after me, I’ll have a flight plan and be lead aircraft, everyone else behind me. The flight plan I’ll use is rough estimate. Its a visual flight really with you all following behind copying me
