Is it possible for infinite flight to update engine sounds on aircraft that has already been updated like the a350 to switch them from the default sounds?
Hey there! I’m gonna link a few topics below, but I want to preface them:
The main reason why there are not more engine sounds in IF is that for every new engine sound, an insane amount of work has to go into getting the sound, figuring out how it sounds at each stage, how it sounds at different distances, then how it will sound to other players who can hear it in multiplayer, how it overlays with other engine sounds and sound effects, and more. A lot goes into that, and at the moment, those resources a being pulled in other directions. However, hopefully in the future this will become an easier process or there will be more time to devote to projects like this.

And this one is for allowing modding in IF, which would allow for users to add their own custom engine sounds. While probably very far off in the distance, if it will ever be implemented, it is a valid feature request:
