Cruising speed

Hi just a quick question as I would like to fly as real as possible on IF. What is the carousing speed for A320 ? and 777 family ?

a320: m .77-.78
777 fam: m.82 - m.84

Those speeds are best at 36,000ft, or 11,000 meters

A320 - M0.77 to M0.80

777 as above but up to M.85

M. 84 for the 777,
M. 78 for the 320.

Hey! There’s a really nice topic here with the service ceilings (the maximum height at which the aircraft can maintain a 100fpm climb) and the cruise speeds for those ceilings here. It’s missing a couple of aircraft (like the A350) which were released after this was written, but it should give you a good idea of where and how to cruise at lower levels too.

My dad is a pilot for United on the A320 and A319 so I can definitely be sure of that speed. The A319 is M .78-.79 and the A320 is M .79-.80

The Boeing 777-200ER or 200F, go M .84. For the 777-300 you can go M .84 or even M.85.
