Crossed over the Sagamore…

To see that other world that lies, on the Cape Side of the Canal…
This weekend I’ve taken my Annual pilgrimage to Cape Cod, Massachusetts
After begging my parents 173527735256 times, they let me spot.

An Ocean Sentry last night with a cruise ship in the background

A CapeAir Technam Traveler on short final. My first time experimenting with prob blur, maybe went a little too low with the shutter speed (1/120 with no tripod

Next, a Cessna 400 Corvallis TT. I had Zero clue that this Cirrus Lookalike existed until yesterday

And finally, my favorite shot, a Cessna 402C from Boston. One of my best shots

bonus

Gear; Nikon D7500, TAMRON 75-300mm 4-31

Awesome shots. Army UH-60s out of JBCC ave a low level route that runs the length of the canal. Sometimes they’ll fly real low in formation.

@AndrewWu what do you think? Did I make the standard? Idk why it looks so blurry on the site

the last 2 photos didn’t upload full quality for some reason. I wouldn’t shoot backlit but hey 2CA and 94P aren’t blurry so that’s a win

Yeah for some reason the 402 looks so much worse than it should. It’s pixelated on Lightroom, but when I took it off it was fine. And also I find it difficult to shoot midday light, any tips?

Check the file dimensions on your computer. As for midday light, only thing you can do is not shoot backlit. As winter comes it’ll get better.

Lovely Cape Air photos! Provincetown is such a fun little airport irl and in IF hopefully someday we will have the P212 and the C402 in IF for all these feeder flights!
