Does anyone have this issue ? on final, when i disengage appr the plane goes up and it refuses to pull down. if fights to go down, 3rd time it has happen to me and i just crashed.
are you calibrating your device, before disengaging APPR? If I don’t calibrate this sometimes happens to me.
i always do.
Can you describe in depth about what happens when you turn off APPR please
it goes straight up, and refuses to pull down.
Ok, I need a photo and more detail, What you are describing to me sounds like not calibrating the device.
By detail, I would like before turning off APPR and after you have turned off APPR.
Ok I was talking too some people in my VA and it seems that there can be a couple things.
Some factors can include:
-
not calibrating before disabling appr
-
having the trim in an incorrect value
-
going too fast on final (should be ~140 kts)
-
Its normal, keep your device stable and it wont go up and down. Responding aggressively will make it worse
ok, thanks for the ideas and your help.
Not just my help, you can also thank some people in UVAL for some ideas of what could be going wrong
Thank you to them too.

Can you give us an approximate of your approach speed?
When flaps are at too high of a degree they may push your nose up. APPR can correct that by fully deflecting your control surfaces. However if your controls aren’t at full authority (in your settings) you won’t be able to apply the necessary correction.
It’s just a theory, if you approach at the recommended speed it could be a worst problem.
