This bright, sunny morning we’re headed West to Adak. I arrived at Ted Stevens Airport at around 9AM to catch our flight- I only brought my backpack as cabin luggage for the 3-day stay so bag check was fast.
Boarding at a remote stand. Today’s flight is less than full- I had a row to myself. The 737-900 cabin is comfortable and modern, with well-padded seats and power plugs. This will be a most pleasant flight.

Disembarking for a 4-day stay in the Aleutians. Alaska’s 737-900 isn’t the newest, shiniest bird compared to the MAX 8 and 9, but is indeed a comfortable way to get to Adak. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for the next topic!
