AND A COUPLE OF SURROUNDING ISLANDS
Departing out of the Inuit Hamlet of Resolute and Resolute Bay airport, I took the CRJ-900 out for a little fly around the island of Cornwallis to see what it looks like from 33,000 feet. We also had Baillie-Hamilton and Little Corwallis neighbouring as well as Griffith and Lowther islands as well, so why not.
It was one of those where I could have just flown for hours and hours around the surrounding landscape and a very relaxing flight at that. This seems to be somewhat of an underused aircraft but it’s smooth and keeps the bumps well under control and a great little cruiser.
Departure and arrival: CYBR (Resolute Bay Airport, Resolute, Canada).
Server: Casual.
Notes: As always, no hard editing was done to the photos, just some personal preference slight changes to the light and contrast and working with what is available – nothing fake added or taken away.
Good times
