Copa Airlines And United Airlines Look The Same!

Remember this @NZ_Aviation12, a little bit of Panamanian aviation history🇵🇦 .In 1998 Copa Airlines signed a strategic alliance with the now extinct Continental Airlines, where Continental acquired 51% of the stock of Copa Airlines. Since then, Copa retired his orange and red livery and the COPA billboard letter style and adopted a similar livery like Continental’s. The logo in the tail is like a globe. The airline begun to retire his old fleet of B737-200s, Lockheed Electra, Avro 748, Curtiss 46 and the B737-100s planes and bought to Boeing the B737-700 and 800, later he ordered the Embraer 190, becoming the first Latin American client of the plane.

For those who are wondering what’s the meaning of the acronym of COPA: COmpañía Panameña de Aviación (Panamanian Company of Aviation)
