Copa Airlines recently celebrated 55 years of flying to Medellín, Colombia uninterrupted. This is one of the airline’s first international destinations, and one of its oldest destinations in Colombia.

Copa Airlines had the honor to sponsor a friendly match between the Miami FC and the Sporting San Miguelito (my local soccer team) last month. A Boeing 737 MAX 9 had the stickers of both teams. The airline reaffirms its commitment to promote sports and bring people together to live these exciting events.

There’s a common stereotype that Hispanics don’t appreciate how important is to be on time. Airlines like Iberia, Aeromexico and Copa Airlines have been making the difference in the industry with their punctually performance.

Copa Airlines celebrated 25 years of connecting Panama with Cancún, Mexico. The route is one of the busiest for Copa Airlines and one of the busiest out of Panama, with 5 to 6 flights per day. Copa Airlines is honored to serve this resort destination and strengthen the economic ties between Panama and the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. In that region, Copa Airlines also opened flights to Tulum last year, but they’re temporarily suspended due to airplane availability problems.
