Copa Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8

Lots of Panamanians in MSP fr?

There is no way they could ignore such important livery, they better add it!

Indeed, we are one of the most voted Max liveries. It would be really disappointing if it doesnā€™t get added.

Where should Copa Airlines fly next? Liberia, Costa Rica

Liberia, located in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, is a vibrant city known for its rich history, stunning natural beauty, and thriving tourism industry. Itā€™s a popular gateway to some of Costa Ricaā€™s most beautiful beaches, including Playas del Coco, Flamingo, and Tamarindo.

Here are some reasons why direct flights between Liberia, Costa Rica and Panama could be beneficial:

  • Direct flights would make it easier for tourists from Panama to access the beautiful beaches and natural attractions of Guanacaste, boosting the local economy.
  • The increased connectivity could facilitate business and trade between the two countries, creating new opportunities for both regions.
  • Direct flights would strengthen the ties between Panama and Costa Rica, promoting regional integration and cooperation.

This destination was previously served by Copa Airlines until March 2020. Thereā€™s a chance that the airline might restart flights to this city. So far, nothing has been said or announced regarding this matter. The airport for this destination would be Daniel Oduber QuirĆ³s International Airport.

It would be amazing to see them back in Liberia! I think it would make sense. The Guanacaste Peninsula, as you mentioned, is a tourist hotspot. Thereā€™s potentially a whole untapped market of people from Latin America and Panama in particular who want to go and vacation but itā€™s a real pain to get their, since you pretty much have to go through San Jose and take a C208 from there, unless you want to go all the way up to the US.

Bolivia had coast before Chile took it from them

Well this is quite a disappointment tbh, it is quite sad since many people wanted Copa to be added. Thanks everyone for voting tho šŸ’™

Thatā€™s sucks but than again, Copa is a brand new operator of this aircraft only receiving them in July

Donā€™t know when they started making the liveries, but certainly back when Copa Airlines didnā€™t have the MAX 8 in their fleet. Probably by the time they received their first MAX 8, they already were wrapping up with the selected liveries and moving to testing. Who knows, but this will continue until the Copa livery is added.

Copa will come! This is an alpha build released to the testers in October, so this is still quiet a time ago. This will come and I know it will come!
