West of Panama, lies the country of Costa Rica. Copa Airlines landed at its capital city San José in the early 1970s, this was their first international destination, which started their expansion in the region and beyond.Copa Airlines operates at Juan Santamaría International Airport.
San José has the become one of their busiest routes. The city is known for being among the Latin American cities with a high life quality, security, environmental performance, public service among other categories, and thanks to its economic stability and cultural influence, San José is the headquarters of several regional offices of international companies and institutions.
