Located at the center of the continent, Panama is Copa Airlines’ homebase. Its capital Panama City, was founded on 15 August 1519, becoming the first European settlement in the Pacific side of the Americas, and one of the oldest European settlements in the Americas. Panama has been considered a point of convergence of people and cultures, now in the contemporary era, Panama City has become an important hub not just for Copa Airlines, but also for global commerce and economy, all thanks to its geographical position. Copa Airlines has its hub at Tocumen International Airport.

Copa Airlines operates a domestic destination in Panama: David, in the Chiriquí province, about 456km west of Panama City. They serve this city through the Enrique Malek International Airport. It’s an important economic center for Panama thanks to agricultural activities, fruit/vegetable harvesting, cattle raising and tourism. The province where the city is located, Chiriquí, is also home of the annual Flowers Festival, other places where people can visit are:
- Boquete (there the Flowers Festival is held)
- Cerro Punta (an important place for fruit and vegetable harvesting)
- Barú Volcano (the tallest mountain in Panama)
