Copa Airlines Boeing 737-800 (Revised Livery with Split Scimitar Winglets)

Copa Airlines has sponsored and participated in several campaigns created by the Panamanian government in order to promote and foment tourism in the country, which is one of our main industries. And like any other carrier, Copa Airlines painted some of their airplanes to promote the image of Panama to every city they fly to. Their special liveries promoting Panama are (or were):

( * = no longer using the special livery/repainted back to the normal livery)

More recently, (and also mentioned in a previous post) in an effort to attract tourists (with safety), Copa Airlines joined PROMTUR (Tourism Promotion Fund) in recording a new safety video. The project started in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the plans of release. The beginning of the video was modified to include a welcome message, with pilots, flight attendants and ground crews wearing facemasks and socially distanced, as a way to promote the biosecurity guidelines often practiced to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

This new safety video is also a tour around some of the relevant/popular places in Panama, showcasing the country’s cultural diversity and landscapes.

The Copa Airlines livery currently in Infinite Flight is outdated and needs a rework. The missing features are:

  • New CopaAirlines logo typography.
  • Split scimitar winglets.
  • Star Alliance logo (on both sides between the cockpit windows and the front doors).
  • Bare metal belly.
