Cool pink dotty line

Hey guys, what’s up?

I just have a quick question and then this can be closed and burned, etc

What’s the dotted line on the 737’s MFD?

I’m not sure, but if I had to guess, I’d go with what your track needs to be, as the dotted line is pointed to the heading bug (what heading you’re set at). So the white line is your current track if you were to fly straight. If you turn your aircraft to the left, the pink line should move to the right and overlap with the white line, meaning that you are at the correct heading.

If I’m correct, the heading your autopilot is set to is about 80 degrees.

It shows what heading you have put in the AP

The ‘cool pink dotty line’ is your heading input on the Autopilot. :)
