I think it would be a good idea for in options you can convert the speeds over to km/h and also mph. Maybe even be able to switch height to meters??
Just wondering
In aviation knots is used in the vast majority of times, think about this idea, people would most likely mistake when a controller tells to reduce speed and many other mistakes.

It was a question not that it should anyways I’m Australian and that’s why I said it can only be changed in options. It’s pretty helpful.
Knots x1.15= mph 😊
There is no international standard established for the description of height or speed for aircraft instrumentation. The Knot (Kt) for example was select by the Aircraft Manufactures Association (AMA) as a standard which is used by major manufacturer members. Prior to the introduction of the Global Positioning System (GPS) both ships and aircraft used the Kt for ease of mathematical calculation as a tried and true standard… For example the DC-3 six pack had duel speed indicators. The pilots registered in mpg the 2d Officer in Kt’s. The 2d Officer was responsible for navigation during that era. Major manufactures like Boeing and Airbus use Kt’s for airspeed and mph for ground speed the AMA standard. It’s a manufacturers “Hobson Choice”. Feet or Meters falls in this realm as well. Sorry max just have to question something. A knot is used because it represents the earths circumference in minutes separated into 60ths, standard nautical unit. Miles followed later. Hence why we use knots as a standardised speed.
@Makeaflightforfun… Andy, Oh so accurate. Chose not to get into complex theory! Used the KISS principle. Bottom line no international norm. The AMA set the tone in the 1960’s for major manufacturers. There’s a lot more to this story and most likely would go over most IF’s head and bore the snot out of’em. Max Sends
Sorry respect your thoughts but because planes navigate using spherical geometry a normal linear mile would not constitute a standard unit of measure
