I would love to have the brake on the left (opposite side to the rudder)… It’s quite difficult to land small GA aircraft in strong crosswinds, after de-crabbing and trying to keep aligned with the centreline with the rudder. To press the brakes I need to release my thumb from the rudder!

If you hold your thumb on the rudder and drag down, it will also activate brakes. A little bit tricky to use, but at least you can keep your finger on the rudder controls as necessary. You may have known this already, but if not - hope it helped

@a_gudimenko yep, I did know you can brake like that, but I still find it difficult to have to hold the rudder ‘downwards’ and steer together. On my iPad, you have to pull the rudder ‘down’ to the menu bar below before it starts to activate the brakes, which is quite a distance. Not sure if the devs can just refine that aspect, ie make it slightly more sensitive?

That would be good. I find it a bit tricky to use as well, though I think - as you said - lots could be improved by just adjusting the sensitivity

I would like to see the brakes at the bottom of the throttle slider so once the reverse thrusters disengage, the manual brakes take effect.
I’m an ambidextrous, I don’t care which side they’re on.
I was thinking of a customizable controls and I found this thread, it would be a good idea, that it was customizable or that there are several layers to put the most suitable each one.
