That articles pretty lame. It gives no relative information other then he had an engine failure, and she helped guide him 300 miles back.
You should also know not to just post a link in a topic.

Also, he lost an engine. While that’s kinda bad, most marine fighter pilots wouldn’t start sweating until both engines went. Congrats to the controller I guess?

Anyone know anything about the bearing sea here in Alaska? If not the water on a 80 degree day is still on like 30 degrees and a person falls in it they are usually dead within 5 minutes if not in a survival suit. That’s the moral of how she saved his life cause if he would have went down he would have been dead due to fridged temps

Yea we know about the bering Sea. I’d expect a F-18 to manage just fine on 1 engine. The fact it was IMC made it worse.
