Continuing Issue - Samsung S24+ INSANE Keyboard Lag

The other topics about this issue are closed, but even after update 24.3 and a hotfix, this issue continues to be present, and it has gotten somewhat worse.

Just to recap: Once spawned, manually filing a flight plan and modifying a waypoint to type a desired altitude, both have a VERY laggy feedback (upwards of 1 minute) or even at times, crashing the game.

My previous S20+ had absolutely no problems with typing any strings or numbers, but the S24+ does.

If any other Samsung user with an S24+ knows how to fix this, PLEASE share your secret!

Keyboard input lag on S24+

Each time I try to put in text in the “search waypoints” tab, there is a lag that takes very long to load. About +/- 1 minute with each interaction. For example: Opening the tab, then it takes about 30 seconds for a keyboard to appear, it takes as long to type in it and respectively to close it. I recently just got a new s24+ and to manually file a flight plan, the keyboard response time is ridiculous. Just hitting “ok” or typing one letter takes about 10 seconds. Any tips on how to resolve this?

I wish I could soleve the same problem you have. I have the exact same device and it bugs me as I can’t put in my altitude.

I’m not sure if this is a Samsung issue or with Infinite Flight. I recall years ago when 20.1 came out, multiple iPhone users were complaining about the sim crashing towards the end of their flight. Was that issue resolved?

Hi, I’m using S24 ultra and I face the same problem. They keyboard and keystrokes lag unimaginably.

Not sure if it’s a Samsung only problem because I play IF on my S7+ tablet and surprisingly, they keyboard works fine on it.

I have owned an S7+ and S20+ in the past, and Infinite Flight ran damn near perfect on those devices.

Exactly which model is it? There’s usually several models of one S24+ / Ultra.
For example, the S24+ exists as following:
SM-S926B, SM-S926B/DS, SM-S926U, SM-S926U1, SM-S926W, SM-S926N, SM-S9260, SM-S926E, SM-S926E/DS

Also, are there are any keyboard-addons? What functions are enabled for typing (Auto complete etc)

Hi Schyllberg,

The model I have is the SM-S926U. As far as I’m aware, there were no addons installed for the default keyboard. But just in case, I have resetted the settings for the entire keyboard.

I too have the problems same on my S24 ultra but sometimes it goes smooth , i thought i was the only one :/
