Has anyone else experienced some connection issues lately? I tried using WiFi and data with no success. I had to leave my flight as none would connect.
All other apps on my device were working correctly so I’m assuming it was the servers themselves?

After trying these if it doesn’t work, then it could be due to server issues. From few days the server is having issues going on, it goes down for few minutes but then comes back too. Hope this issue will be resolved soon.
When it happens on a short haul, turn off the internet connection for a few sec , then turn it on again.
