Connection issues between IF and PS4 controller

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have noticed that the connection between the PS4 controller and Infinite Flight cannot be restored after the controller automatically shuts off. Does anyone know of any solutions for this issue?

I’m having the same problem on PS5 controllers.

Unfortunately, by design, IF loads your controller configuration when the app starts. If your controller disconnects, there’s no way to restore it.

Modern controllers have a standby timer built into them, and there’s no way to change it within android or iOS. You might be able to change this timer within the console itself.

Consider maybe using a wired controller in future.

Our control system is configured when the app is launched, so it detects all connected controllers to your device at that point.
