Try resetting your devices network settings then:

Reset Network Settings
-From the home screen, tap Settings.
-Scroll down to, then tap General.
-Scroll down to, then tap Reset.
-Tap Reset Network Settings.
-Tap Reset Network Settings to confirm.

Be sure to restart your device after you do this.

Does it stay red the whole time you are flying? Try accessing another server and try a different airport.

It seems there may be an issue with your Internet Service Provider or the equipment. You can try deleting that app and reinstalling. Also, if your internet upload and download speeds are weak then this can give you issues as well. I would try and see what happens when you utilize a different internet host other than your home WiFi to see if this issue still exists.

Having the same issue… and i can’t log in IF via Google Account

Have you tried restarting/reinstalling?

Nope… Me and @Overspeed have the same issue… I reinstalled IF yesterday since it took 3GB out of my storage. Also i flew KLAX - OMDB and 5 hours into the flight my FPL was changed suddenly. I was sleeping and nobody was home. Rip 20 minutes of planning

Clear your Cache, restart your device and relaunch Infinite Flight. Try a different airport as well.

As soon as I open up the app, it gives me the message. It is not possible to get that message away.
