Hi i have tried connecting a joystick i did all the steps but yet it won’t work

For iOS devices, you need to use an external program called MapConnect (laptop required). Here’s the tutorial.

This is the software i used it says connected but the plane won’t move or anything i already mapped the buttons and stuff

Surprised restarting your device didn’t work - time to do more digging.
Edit: couldn’t find anything (unless Discourse search is being annoying as it often is). Device restarts tend to fix any control-related issue…whether it be using tilt motion controls or an external joystick.

Hey this may be the problem. You mapped the controls. On Map Connect. Not in IF. You will have to map only the joystick in IF and the buttons will be fine, make sure that the Infinite Flight Connect setting is on and Map Connect is connected to your device
