Congo Plane Crash | At least 27 People Killed
At least 27 people have been killed as a passenger plane crashed into houses in the city of Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
Victims include 9 people from the same family who where in one of the houses that was hit.
The aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from the city’s airport on Sunday morning local time.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Dornier-228 twin-turboprop aircraft was carrying 17 passengers and 2 crew members.
The plane had been scheduled to fly to Beni, 350km north of Goma.
The investigation is still ongoing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and everyone that was involved in the incident.
