About Dewitt Field (KOLD)
Dewitt field is a GA airport and Sea Plane base serving the town of Old Town Maine. The airport is officially called Old Town Airport at Dewitt Field. At the Sea Plane base, their is a National Forest Service hanger for helicopters. Dewitt field also has no commercial service due to its proximity to the near by Bangor International Airport (KBGR). You might recognize the name of the town from canoes, and yes, Old Town Canoe was created in Old Town.
