The Infinite Flight General Aviation Club

Training Thursday’s

Welcome to the first edition of Training Thursday’s! To kick off the training program, we will be going through the fundamental maneuvers for flight. These include normal takeoff and landing, as well as the four fundamentals of flight. We will be maneuvering around the airport doing turns, climbs, descents, and combinations of those. Now a little bit about myself and the team; I am currently a flight instructor over at Purdue University studying flight, and I am joined by a team of hand picked members each with their own other real life experience and knowledge.

  • Fly with the mindset of the “IM SAFE” Checklist (Illness, Medicine, Stress, Alcohol, Fatigue, Emotion) - Even though this is all virtually, this checklist helps you to make normal day decisions and should be memorized
