Introduction: Welcome to the Regional Series, a bi-monthly series where events are held at regional airports! These series of events are to promote flying in and out of regional airports, rather than major airports and hubs. In order to celebrate the founding of America 250 years ago on Independence Day, the regional series will be coming to the nation’s capital!

Join us for a special America 250 fly-in and fly-out celebrating 250 years of the United States across the Washington, D.C. region. This event features all three types of aviation—commercial operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (KDCA), known for its scenic approaches along the Potomac River and views of the nation’s monuments. If you are interested in military operations, fly to Joint Base Andrews (KADW), home of Air Force One and a cornerstone of American military aviation. College Park Airport (KCGS), the world’s oldest continuously operating airport, and very first airport in the United States known for the Wright Brothers’ operations here.

Please do not express your political views in the comments. This is not a political event, nor is it intended to be. Your political affiliation does not matter to attend this event, rather for people who are interested. I am not affiliated with the official USA250 and America250 events or company. This is not an official America250 celebraton and is a fan made event.
