Device Compatibility Thread
This thread is moderator approved
The purpose of this thread is to have a wiki where people can submit what device they use, what quality they use, and how well it runs, so that’s over time we can build up a list of compatible devices, and how well those devices work on what settings. So if anyone asks about if there device is supported or if a certain device works well with Infinite Flight, we can direct them to this list!
This thread will be a wiki so Regulars can add to it. Please use this format when posting information:
Device: iPad Air (1st Generation)
Operating system: iOS 11.2.1
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture quality: High
Anti-Aliasing: On
Limit framerate: On
Airplane count: High
Low-power mode: On
Notes: Occasionally when an airport is busy you will have to turn off Anti-Aliasing, but it runs pretty well.
Regulars, when adding to this list please use ‘Hide Details’ so this post isn’t a giant flood of text. If you are not adding to this and are just posting on the thread then there is no need as a Regular will do it for you.
Feel free to post your information even If your device has already been mentioned. The whole point is to get as much information about as many devices as possible! So, it begins!

Android
Samsung Galaxy S8+ - @ThomasR
Device: Samsung Galaxy S8+
Operating System: Android 7.0
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture Quality: High
Anti-Aliasing: On
Limit frame rate: On
Notes: Runs very well on high quality settings. If the airport is busy you may sometimes need to turn off anti-aliasing to reduce some lag. Overall you will receive a high quality experience from this device.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - @MartyFlies
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Operating system: Android 7.0
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture quality: High
Anti-Aliasing: On
Limit framerate: Off
Notes: Runs IF without problems on highest settings, though on busy airports it can lag and I have to turn off anti-aliasing. At 5,5 inch the screen is good for traveling, but when you’re at home it feels too small and a tablet would be a better option.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium - @RealAviation1974
Device: Sony Xperia XZ Premium (US Version)
Operating system: Android 7.1.2
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture quality: High

Vivo V3 - @George
Device: Vivo V3
OS: Android 5.1.1
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture Quality: High
Anti-Aliasing: On
Limit Frame Rate: On
Notes: It may lag when the airport is busy (If Anti Aliasing is on). But other than that, it works perfectly to me ;)
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - @Jeno_Farkas
Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 8
OS: Android 7.1.1
Rendering Quality: High
Rendering Resolution: High
Texture quality: High
Anti-aliasing: ON
Limit Frame Rate: OFF
Note: With these settings Infinite Flight looks stunning on the Note 8’s huge screen. Worth to mention that with the Frame Limiter set to Off, the phone tends to push itself to the limits no matter how crowded the airport is nearby, which can make it really hot, especially when the phone is in Optimised performance mode, which can later cause some lags. On High performace performance mode there are no lags at all on the highest available resolution, in full screen mode, though this drains the battery far more quicker.
For long haul flights I recommend turning the Automatic Low Power mode on and the use of Blackr, to prevent screen burn-in.
