Comms wont work after AP+ useage

Good morning,

I took off from KLAX with active IFATC - no issues. Everything worked fine.

Over to RJTT center, approach and ATIS. I heard just a “click” every time i got a message but no actual words.

Sevice is a samsung A52, recebt updates. Im aware that the device is old, but eberything worked fine until the rjtt approach. I did activate AP+ and went to the home screen (the app was not closed)

Update:

Started a new flight. No sound. Cleared cache and restarted, nothing… still no sound

Did you tune out of the frequency before exiting to AP+?

Happened to a few people including myself. For Android I’m sure you just activate Siri then turn it off. Should bring back the sound.

For iOS I just hit screen record and turn it off immediately, this kicks back in the sound.

Try it. Just a bug from before the update :saluting_face:

Ok what i do. Hit the screen record button then turn it off(I do this on my iPhone) to kick back in the sound.

Can you do that?

When I spawn in sometimes there’s no sound. I just swipe, press screen record, then immediately turn it off and suddenly my sound kicks back in.

Been happening on/off for months :saluting_face:

I have been having a similar issue but only with connecting to a Center. For example, I was clearly within Montreal Center yesterday and repeatedly received the “you’re in an active airspace” warning, but couldn’t see or connect to the frequency. Same thing with Tokyo Center this morning. Within radius, active center/frequency, but doesn’t show up in my comms menu. I haven’t had this issue with Tower, Approach, or unicom. Sometimes it will randomly show up just before I have to switch to Approach anyways, but this issue is only after coming back from AP+. Haven’t been reported yet but I see this issue causing a violation at some point.

Edit: happened to me with center NOT after using ap+

Hey. Believe me I have this also & I was worried.

BUT. If you click on the actual airspace on the map it’ll show center active & you can click ‘tune’. Phew!!!

Still the issue is still valid. Just do this if ever you worried though :saluting_face:
