Cockpit Cam “Paralysis” on Takeoff

Device: iPhone 13
Operating system: iOS 17.0.1

I’m not really sure exactly how to describe this, but I’ll do my best. On takeoff roll, no matter the aircraft, server, time, etc, the cockpit cam gets paralyzed or “locks up.” No matter how much I try and move around the camera in the cockpit, it stays stuck until rotation.

I have attached a screen recording so you can kind of get a visual. I’m moving my finger as far up and down as possible on the screen, yet the camera view won’t change. This isn’t an issue in flight, while taxiing, or in any other camera.

Are you using any third-party applications?

I am using IFOperations/IFAssistant , yeah. But the same issue occurs with or without it activated

On IF-A there is a setting called shaky cam. Not sure if it’s working or not but I know it locks up the screen in cockpit view. Try turning that off to see if that works.

It’s always been off. Here are how my settings were for my last flight where this happened (BC3)

Have you restarted your device?

Multiple times, yep:

Try deleting and reinstalling IF. Just note it will delete all of your replays.

Usually when this happens for me I recalibrate my device and all is good.

This only happens to me when I spawn in so your situation is a bit different.
