I thought that when we have a emergency landing say barely any fuel left, will the airport tell all the other pilots on frequency to divert to another airport? If the forum wants this to be a feature please request it or just ignore it.
This actually relates to the Crash of the Century, I watched a vid on myflightchannel’s YouTube
Happy Flights
Kamanda
PS. please don’t get mad at me if I made an extra post or this is irrelevant, I just want the forum to be happy
PPS. I just made my trust level 2 so I now changed this to features.
First, the low fueled plane would have right of way for landing. But the other planes could either divert of they circle the airport. More likely divert if the low fueled plane can’t get off the runway.
Say when the developers came out with the option of having to land due to emergency fuel and it was only for expert server people? I know the TS1 pilots don’t know what their doing so they have to work up to expert server to have the full experience
If its that low on fuel and its a busy airport… Then they will divert the aircraft with low fuel (They would only take it if its to big for any other nearby airport or that it can get off the runway)
No… They have said no to ground vehicles… You would just have to taxi off the runway…
Even though I have asked for fire trucks as we can do some cool stuff with those. (Inaugural Service Welcome, Emergency Situations, etc…) I would sign up for that group if it was to become one.
If this was in a controlled environment where everyone was properly educated and could communicate properly and follow rules, then I would be all for it.
But this is IF but more importantly an online sim. Half the players have never logged into the IFC and then you have a large number who would take advantage of the situation. Picture this its a FNF in SoCal with 30 inbound to PSP with its one large runway. Some troll declares an emergency knowing that they can land and force everyone else in a hold. Meanwhile someone does the same at SAN. We now have 60 planes in a holding pattern in SoCal because two trolls didnt want to wait their turn to land.
If you run out of fuel you failed as a pilot and crash. That’s how you learn estimation and planning skills. lol
