Oh ok sorry I was distracted while flyibg
Thanks for the compliment! I am going to improve on downwind and my landings as they weren’t the best. :)
Yeah, you helped me out! You analyzed my scenario, and quickly went around!
That’s because you only have 2 aircraft!
Sorry about that, I know this. I was just in a hurry, I meant to quit.
Can’t. Trying to prepare to finally begin my first video for my YT channel
Cool! Send us a link! 🙂
Alright, will do! I’m finishing the first two videos.
Some Photos from the Event! Sorry to the Controller, I don’t know what “Extend Downwind” means and I’m pretty sure I didn’t do it when asked. Can someone please explain what it means?
Extend downwind means staying almost parallel to the runway until told to turn for final approach. You will most likely be on downwind for major airports and small airports too. Whenever I fly into my hometown airport (ATL), we’re always parallel to the runway we plan on landing on. Hope that kinda helped, if it didn’t, I’ll message you a photo
Perfectly said. When I fly into Atlanta I always fly the downwind also. I know in Chicago you fly the STAR approach which includes a Downwind sometimes.
One of my favorite approaches including a downwind is 24L at LAX, when we turned, the views of Downtown were amazing! :)
That is a stunning approach. I love landing at LGA on 04 because you get amazing views of downtown New York. I flew the 24L downwind also, and it was also stunning.
Yeah! In September, I’ll be flying in and out of ATL again, which means new videos for my channel! That reminds me, time to upload! :)
Whats your channel? I will totally subscribe!
