Event Update:

As you can see by the map, the cruise ship pick-up zone is on the northern edge of Oahu island. Local fishing vessels are assisting in getting the passengers to land and we must pick them up and deliver them safely to Honolulu International Airport (PHNL), where medical personnel and transport are standing by.

There are several ways you can approach this area; over land from the south, or from the ocean from either direction. Personally, I find it easiest to come in over the water, nice and slow. Remember, the terrain is NOT flat, and a bump here or there could cause your aircraft to crash.

Please come out and join my crew, at any time during the 3 days, and help us rescue all of the passengers. Wehn you complete a missions, please record it on this IFC thread so that we can keep track of how many passengers remain. (ie. C130J, one trip, 74 passengers rescued).

If this kind of mission, or search and rescue mission interest you, come by our website and join. We are always looking for good pilots to help us "Keep our Borders Safe"

4900 passenger, 72 hours…who can save the most passengers? 😀

C130- 74 passengers
C208 - 12 passengers

Another C130 landed, but crashed while taxiing. Taxi very slowly. Hope to see more of you out there!

The Exercise has begun! Please feel free to join us at any point over the next 3 days to try your hand at rescuing some passengers!
