Today is event day! Just some logistics:
Please spawn at your gate at least 5-10 minutes beforehand. We will be departing around 5-10 minutes after the hour to give others a chance to join.
In terms of flight planning, please expect to use 28R for departure! This is the longest runway and is currently active in real life. I recommend everyone use SIDs for that. Here’s a link to all of the SIDs. Choose the appropriate one for your route. If you don’t know it, use SimBrief or FPLtoIF to import the departure and the route for you.
Since ATC is not present at this event, please utilize Unicom appropriately. State your intentions the entire time until your wheels lift up off the runway. Allow others to pushback and begin taxi before you start yours. Give way to aircraft on your right at all times. Full length departures only, please. Those using general aviation can do an intersection departure, so give them enough space to depart.
Please act professional during this event as it takes place on the expert server. Do not taxi through others, do not race down the taxiway, maintain safe distance from other aircraft, and finally, have fun!
