Event Day is Here!
Just some important things to note here. Please read this entire post!

Denver International is a rather large airport but things can get tricky once 100+ planes are in the air and on the ground. I ask you all to please help yourself and your fellow ATC. Do not spam the frequencies. If you notice some people pushing back next to you, chances are you cannot. Request pushback once and just be patient until you receive a response back. Your clearance will not come any faster if you ask for it 3 or 4 times within 2 minutes. ATC can see you on the radar and understand your intentions. Expect delays from ATC. I cannot stress this enough especially since I am an IFATC controller. You know the airport will be crowded, don’t worsen the situation by giving ATC a hard time.
Use common sense when navigating in the air and on the ground especially. If taxiing, please be aware of other pilots around you. If another pilot approaches an intersection to your right, give way to them. Don’t make ATC tell you to do so – save them the energy and make it easier for them. Do not race on the taxiways. You guys all know you cannot speed down a highway at 100 mph. The same applies to airplanes. 20 kts is the absolute maximum an aircraft should be traveling on any taxiway. Finally, follow the leader. If someone is taxiing to the same runway as you, follow them. Don’t try to cut them off at an intersection or take a parallel taxiway to try and skip the departure queue. Everyone will be able to depart the airspace but it may not as fast as you want it to be. I cannot stress enough that patience is very crucial here. If you cannot abide by this, the expert server and the real world is not for you. Good things come to those who wait.
- Read the following below. Understand how this airport works, please. It will make your lives easier.
- Please spawn in AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You do not want to wait until the start of the event to find a gate. Remember that other people who are not participating in this event will be at this airport so they may take your gate. If they do please patiently wait until they move away (you can see this on the gate map screen in the main menu). You’re better off spawning as early as possible. You can sit there for the next 3 hours if you have to, at least you have your gate.
And finally,
As insinuated earlier on, DynamX will be doing a surprise military fly-over for this event. Thanks to @David_Beckett for setting his team up to do this. You do not want to miss it. They will be flying over at exactly 1600Z so spawn in as early as possible so you do not miss this.
