Pasted this feedback in the wrong topic 😔, dumb error on my part.

Feedback:

  1. Aircraft remaining in the pattern need to be sequenced immediately
  2. Take into consideration aircraft speeds. Cesnas should not be sequenced 4 miles in front of Boeing 747s.
  3. Take into consideration aircraft positions. You sequenced me in front of the 747 in right base, which made no sense because it would have meant little sequencing space between me and the aircraft in front. The appropriate order would have been… me, 747, then the Cessna. Don’t be afraid to use extend downwind if the aircraft isn’t complying with your sequencing!
  4. Remember to give landing clearance. Despite me sending the report position message a few times, you never realized that you had never cleared me, and as a result I had to go around.

Keep practicing, you will get there someday!

Also… The sequencing I need to work on especially with the slower aircraft (as you said) (Ive been told that before)

You should study up on transitions. You gave me a transition approval at 10k feet. No bueno.

I’m hopping back on in a moment and will provide further feedback, if necessary.

Edit - I’m not coming back. Tablet is not cooperating very well this evening. Keep it simple with the transition altitudes…

If you took off from Anguilla and then came into my airspace because you were overhead. Then I should trasittion you 8,000 or above (I thought)

Transition should never be given above 5k AGL. And really, you should try to stick around 3k AGL more than 5k even (presuming pattern traffic is at appropriate altitudes). Never 8k, though.

Here’s my feedback:

First of all I liked your pattern entries and your sequencing. Once or twice it came a little late but good overall in my eyes! Kept things efficient with good separation.

Here are the things that could be improved:

  • After you tell me to make right traffic prior takeoff you don’t need to tell me that again when you clear me for the option. (Same goes for my go around)

  • Transition was too low. Remember I flew a 787 at about 2000AGL… The correct height would have probably been something around 3000-3500. Not 2000.

  • Make sure you give me the go arounds, I shouldn’t be doing that in the last possible second. I know, Caribean entered without permission, but the second he roles onto the RW you should have given me the go around.

But overall a job well done!!
